Ready to shape some clay and create your own plate with a little flair?
In this workshop, you’ll create your own handmade and unique plate. Whether you use it for aperitifs, as a serving platter, or simply as a decorative piece – you decide what purpose your creation will have.
To begin, you’ll choose one of three types of clay to work with, each with its own unique character. You’ll then use the slab-building technique to shape your piece entirely by hand, from start to finish.
If you’d like, you can add a personal touch with colour. Using slip, you can decorate your plate with delicate patterns, stripes, or dots, giving it an individual character. Your piece will then be glazed with a transparent glaze and fired by us. After approximately 4–5 weeks, it will be ready for collection at studio106.
WHO IT’S FOR
This workshop is suitable for all experience levels. It is open to adults aged 18 and over and offers a maximum of 5 places, ensuring a personal and relaxed atmosphere.
