OPEN
STUDIO
Every Monday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, we open our doors to everyone who feels like getting creative with clay.
Our Open Studio in Zurich is suitable for anyone with previous experience working with clay. You are welcome to use our studio and its facilities independently.
As working on the pottery wheel requires a certain level of experience, access to the wheels is only available to those who have completed a pottery wheel course. The course does not necessarily have to have been completed at studio106.
WHO IT’S FOR
The Open Studio is exclusively available to participants aged 18 and over who can demonstrate previous experience working with clay, as continuous guidance and supervision by the studio106 team cannot be guaranteed.
A maximum of three places is available per session.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Please note that completing your pieces requires at least two sessions. After the first session, your pieces need to be fired first – this process usually takes 7 to 14 days. Only then can they be glazed.
If you work on the pottery wheel, you will need a total of three sessions: one for shaping, a second for trimming, and finally one for glazing.
Unfired pieces are stored for a maximum of 1 month, while bisque-fired and glazed pieces are stored for a maximum of 2 months.
At studio106, we place great importance on storing your work carefully and securely. However, due to limited storage capacity, we need to make room for new creations once these periods have expired.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
